Yes. If you run Revit inside a Windows virtual machine on your Mac (Parallels Desktop is the most common setup), BIM Monkey installs and runs the same way it would on a Windows PC. The plugin is a standard Revit add-in — it doesn't know or care whether it's inside a VM. API calls go through Parallels' bridged network, which uses your Mac's internet connection. On first launch you may see a Windows SmartScreen prompt; click "More info" then "Run anyway" — the installer is signed with a DigiCert EV certificate.
Yes. BIM Monkey works through Claude Code, which requires an Anthropic API key. You pay Anthropic directly for usage — most firms spend $20–60/month depending on session volume. That cost is separate from your BIM Monkey subscription and is not marked up.
